I realise it’s a little old news but just got round to having look at this video and what travel tainment have to offer along with Microsoft’s Surface Technology unit.
Looking at it from a travel professional point of view surface could be a big part of the way we deliver our content to the end user; however it needs to be but positioned at a reasonable price and with valid content. If these elements are covered then it could be part of the consumer research & planning cycle – allowing two-way integration with the web – research on Surface, post your research back to the web to share with friends or family and then book.
It looks vey impressive and the potential is vast but as this is still an experiment its very early days but ones that could herald a new form of interactivity into the travel market?
